About

Work Awesome is a resource for people who love what they do, and want to become awesome at it.

This is a blog for people who want to be awesome at work, and for people who want to be awesome at what they’re passionate about. Whether it’s the music you’re making in your home studio or the freelance business you’ve always wanted to start, we can help.

We share useful articles about starting things, completing things, and trying new things—and being “awesomely productive” when doing so.

This site attracts over 500,000 monthly pageviews with readers from 188 countries. Guy Kawasaki thinks we are enchanting (who knows something about enchantment). We have also been featured on New York Times blog,  Lifehacker and on Smashing Magazine. We have also won the UK Design Award for March, 2011. Click here if you’re interested in advertising.

Tina Su | Publisher

Hello. I’m Tina. I am a work-at-home mom who spent the last eight years focused on topics relating to productivity and personal happiness. I am an inspirational writer and online publisher of motivational content.

Prior to creating the awesome gigs of managing Think Simple Now and Work Awesome, I was tucked away at amazon.com headquarters in Seattle as a software engineer and user-experience designer. Since then, I have vowed to “Never Work Again”. Ironically, today I “work” the “4 million hour work week”—according to my husband—but I really love it.

I live in Seattle with my husband Jeremy, our toddler son Ryan, and fluffy dog Tommy. I am a lover of salads, apple products, and portrait photography.
